The Funny Art Gallery
While thinking about our Funny Art Gallery we intended to include all of Saint's humorous art across all lines. However, the artist's sense of humor is a part of so many works that we have decided to only include the greatest of his series, 'The Misadventurers of the Chickens'. The now famous 'Chickens' began when the artist's mother recalled a rare ice storm in her childhood. She recalled how the chickens, who had never seen ice, slid across the ice trying to reach the feed. The humor of this scene inspired Saint's first chicken painting...'Chickens on Ice'. The acceptance of this painting and the sale inspired another, and another until at this point the artist has painted over 25 paintings in his 'Misadventures of the Chickens'. Bookmark this page for when you need a laugh. Enjoy!!

This painting,'Chicken of the Sea', is considered to be a watershed painting in the series. The Chickens came of age here and showed their unlimited potential. This is one of the most popular of the series.
